KTS RACES - Western Barbarians

And here is the last of the barbarian races, the westerners... or vikings as probably most people reading this would know them by.

It also shows just how sweeping the term is, the viking, or really Nordic/Scandinavian peoples are the only ones the people of the Imperial Realm have encountered, and yet they judge all westerners by them. But then again there aren't many westerners left, so maybe that's not their fault.

The West itself is much more of a mystery than the north or south of the Imperial Realm, not many people have been there, and explorer and trader ships rarely return. It is known to be a shattered land, much of it was destroyed in some sort of cataclysmic event long ago, with the surviving peoples living on the outskirts and neighboring islands of the vast continent.

The Dwarves, Malcolms kin, also came from the West, fleeing the cataclysmic end of their own civilisation, though many, like the rest of the princes family, seek to reclaim their lost homelands, most have managed to settle and co-habit with the humans in their lands on the edges of the Imperial Realm.
